About the Author
"I cover the real news – the subjects they won’t even touch on TV.
For the last ten years I’ve written and edited for Culttture, Cernovich News, We Are Change, and many of the other best names in independent media." -- www.theandrewmeyer.com
"On September 17, 2007, Kerry addressed a Constitution Day forum at the University of Florida campus in Gainesville, which was organized by the ACCENT Speakers Bureau, an agency of the university's student government. Andrew Meyer, a 21-year-old fourth-year undergraduate mass communication student, had initially been allowed to ask a question after the close of the question period. He asked Kerry whether he was a member of the Skull and Bones
society. Meyer was forcibly pulled away from the microphone. He was immediately restrained and forcibly removed and was subsequently arrested by university police. During his arrest, Meyer struggled and screamed for help. While six officers held Meyer down, one of the officers drive-stunned him with a taser following Meyer's shouted plea to the police, "Don't tase me, bro!"
On the day following the incident, Kerry's office issued a statement:
"In 37 years of public appearances, through wars, protests and highly emotional events, I have never had a dialogue end this way.
I believe I could have handled the situation without interruption, but I do not know what warnings or other exchanges transpired between the young man
and the police prior to his barging to the front of the line and their intervention. I asked the police to allow me to answer the question and
was in the process of responding when he was taken into custody. I was not aware that a taser was used until after I left the building.
I hope that neither the student nor any of the police were injured. I regret enormously that a good healthy discussion was interrupted." — John Kerry

Endorsements
Cassandra Fairbanks, one of the best writers on the planet, called the book, “A fascinating look at how fake news is crafted from a victim of a viral, and faulty, mainstream media narrative. You won’t be able to put this book down as Meyer details how and why he went on to make it his mission in life to combat and expose these bogus narratives and collusion between the media and our government.”
Jan Fredrik Drabløs says, "This is a fascinating story about the questioning of John Kerry by Andrew Meyer. It goes in depth of how the media pushes through a false narrative to suite the agenda of their masters. How they knowingly lie and omit the truth to deceive the people. I remember this event well, and luckily, I didn’t trust the media even back then. I always thought of Andrew Meyer as a hero for what he did. He was one of the first people that really asked the tough questions, and inspired many others to do the same. It was a very different time back then, before social media and the early years of YouTube. It brings back memories. It is a very well written book and easy to read. It’s hard to put down, as I spent only two evenings reading the whole book."
